Important Information for UK Players

Goldenbet prices several promotions in pounds as well as euros, its spin deal asks for a deposit of "50 €/£ or more", and the UK is missing from its list of barred countries. None of that makes it UK-regulated. Goldenbet, its four sisters and Betmac all hold Curaçao licences, and none of them is on the UK Gambling Commission's register. A UK player at Goldenbet leaves these protections behind:

• A deadline, then disputes abroad. Goldenbet's terms say a complaint raised more than two months after the problem "may be disregarded". After its own support team, the next step it offers is the Curaçao regulator or an unnamed independent body, and court cases belong in Curaçao.
• Wagering above the UK ceiling. Since 19 January 2026, a UK-licensed casino can't set wagering on bonus funds above 10x. Goldenbet's 10% cashback asks 45x, and Casino Guru lists 35x for its deposit bonuses.
• Your own block only. Joining the UK's national online self-exclusion scheme leaves a Goldenbet account untouched. At Goldenbet you email support to exclude yourself for six months to five years; name no period and it applies six months.

Four of the sites like Goldenbet below are run by its own company under its own licence. Betmac comes from a different operator and is labelled as an alternative. Goldenbet's row comes first, for reference.

Goldenbet Ownership and Licence

Goldenbet's footer says the site is "owned and operated by" Santeda International B.V., Curaçao company number 151296, and the Curaçao Gaming Authority's certificate for goldenbet.com confirms it. A second certificate covers goldenbet2.com.

Goldenbet's own pages lag behind in places. Its company-details page still credits the licence to the "Curaçao Gaming Control Board" under the 1993 gaming ordinance, while the regulator's certificate cites the 2024 games-of-chance law and the footer names the Curaçao Gaming Authority. In February 2026, NEXT.io reported that Goldenbet's footer now listed GTW B.V.; the footer we read on 6 October named Santeda. The regulator's licence register and its certificates also describe the licence differently, so we show both rather than pick one.

All Santeda International B.V. Casinos

Five Santeda International B.V. casinos pass both of our tests: a live regulator certificate in the company's name, and the company named on the brand's own site. Goldenbet is one. Cosmobet, Velobet, Zizobet and Rolletto are the four sister sites of Goldenbet we can prove.

Former stablemates. Regulators tie MyStake to Santeda. Sweden's regulator found in June 2024 that Santeda was offering gambling in Sweden through mystake.com, and its decision lists goldenbet.com among Santeda's other sites; ACMA's warning of January 2026 calls Santeda a provider of the MyStake service. For Donbet, the link is a February 2026 trade-press report that it had been licensed through Santeda. Both brands are now certified to another Curaçao company, GTW B.V., under a separate licence, which makes them relatives of Goldenbet rather than sisters. One of the five affiliate lists we saved adds Angliabet, but none of the Angliabet pages we read names an operator or a licence, so it stays off our list.

Trade press in May and July 2026 reported that the group had moved its licensed business from Santeda to GTW and that both companies had been dissolved. We couldn't verify either claim. On 6 October all eleven Santeda domain certificates we found still read "Active", though the register's 2 October edition lists the licence as "Assessment in progress".

The gap between Goldenbet and Cosmobet is widest on Casino Guru: 8.3 against 5.7, with one complaint unresolved at Cosmobet and 23 at Goldenbet. Cosmobet is also the only Santeda brand whose terms Casino Guru passed without flagging a single clause. Much of what a Goldenbet player knows still applies. Both start at €20, neither takes a cut from a deposit you withdraw without playing (each may cancel the request instead), and both wait a year before charging an idle account.

Cosmobet's cap on a single win is twice Goldenbet's, at €100,000 per bet or spin, and its 10% monthly crypto cashback needs 30x rather than 45x. What you give up is the wager-free spins. Cosmobet's welcome spins are worth $0.10 each, its general terms cap free-spin winnings at 100 EUR/USD, and the VIP Club it listed on 9 October sets its rates individually.

Goldenbet's best perk is spins that pay out without wagering. Velobet builds a loyalty scheme on the same principle. Hold your monthly deposits at one tier for three months in a row and it pays a reward with no wagering, from 50 spins at the $50 tier to $1,000 in cash at $25,000; each reward lapses after 24 hours.

Its 20% clause on unplayed deposits and its 60-day idle fee, listed above, are where it is harsher than Goldenbet. Every Velobet offer and term here comes from its own pages on 8 October 2026.

Goldenbet's cash-out rules mention a "replace function" without explaining it. Zizobet's "Total Bet Control" spells the tools out. You can drop a selection before its event starts, for a small fee, or swap one pre-match leg for another at equal or higher odds, once per ticket. Its Bet Builder rules match Goldenbet's: up to ten markets from one sport, and no cash out. Multi Bet Boost then pays a free bet on a $20+ slip of three or more selections at 1.50+, whether it wins or loses.

The costs are a five-day clock on the casino welcome and a possible 20% deduction if you cash out a deposit you never wagered, a clause Goldenbet's terms don't contain. In Zizobet's favour, its top payout on one bet is the crypto equivalent of €100,000, and Casino Guru has logged 4 complaints about it, against 103 in Goldenbet's complaints box.

Goldenbet already rewards acca players in two ways: 20% of a losing multiple back as a free bet, and a 20 free bet every Saturday for a stake of 40 or more, win or lose. Rolletto goes further. Its "Up to 50% Free Bet" is credited the moment a qualifying accumulator is placed, from 5% of the stake on three legs to 50% on fifteen or more. A Fantasy League with free-bet prizes and a sports leaderboard with a $250,000 pool, running to 31 January 2027, come on top.

It ranks fourth here because its record is only a little better than Goldenbet's. Casino Guru gives Rolletto 6.0 and rates its terms unfair, and the casino welcome asks 40x on the first two deposits. And look at the address bar, since rolletto1.cc doesn't appear on any Rolletto certificate we opened.

If Goldenbet's complaint record is what worries you, Betmac takes you out of the Santeda group altogether. Casino Guru scores it 7.4, well above Goldenbet's 5.7, and found no relevant complaints. Keep that in proportion: Casino Guru dates Betmac to 2025 and calls it small to average-sized, so it has had far less time, and far fewer players, to collect complaints. It also rates Betmac's terms "somewhat unfair".

Some rules will feel familiar. Betmac can charge €10 a month once an account has been idle for 12 months, just as Goldenbet can, and it limits winnings to €50,000, though per day rather than per bet. It is built around slots and live casino; we found no sportsbook in its menu on 5 and 6 October, although the undated screenshot above shows a "Sports" item marked new. Withdrawals start at €100, five times Goldenbet's minimum.

Goldenbet vs Its Sister Sites

Goldenbet's own rules sit at both ends of the family: some of the mildest small print, next to the lowest win cap and the highest cashback wagering we could find.

Goldenbet's strongest betting perk is its 20% sports cashback. Lose a slip of three or more selections at 1.50+ with €20 or more staked, and a fifth of the stake returns automatically as a free bet, up to €500 per bet.

What Goldenbet Sister Companies Share

Each Santeda casino writes its own promotions, but these points match across all five, small wording differences aside:

Bonuses at Sites Like Goldenbet

Goldenbet's welcome bonus is the one offer on this page that stays unconfirmed. Its promotions page listed nine offers on 6 October, at 09:32 and 10:47 UTC, and the same nine on 8 October, and none was a welcome bonus. Its bonus terms name more than 50 countries "not eligible for the promotions and bonuses"; the UK isn't on that list.

What we do know: Goldenbet's terms name a casino welcome bonus plus second- and third-deposit casino bonuses, and cap what you can withdraw from each at ten times the bonus. Casino Guru, in a review dated February 2026, lists three deposit bonuses of 100% up to $500, each at 35x the bonus plus deposit with a $5 maximum bet. That fits the three bonuses in the terms, but treat it as unconfirmed until you see the offer for yourself.

The casino offer we could confirm at Goldenbet is its late-week spins. On a Thursday or a Friday, deposit €50 or more and enter GOLDEN within an hour to get 100 spins on BGaming's Hot Chilli Bells; repeat on the other day for 200 in all. Their winnings carry no wagering and can be withdrawn up to 1,000. Without that promotion's own rules, Goldenbet's default for free spins is 10x wagering and a 100 cap. The spin value isn't stated.

Goldenbet's 10% casino cashback has to be requested from support, and only once your balance is below 1. On our reading of its terms, deposit €200 over a week and lose it, and the cashback comes to €20. At 45x that's €900 of bets within 15 days, at up to €20 a bet, and the most you can then withdraw from it is €100, five times the cashback.

There's no Goldenbet sister sites no deposit bonus among the welcome offers above: each starts with a deposit, the smallest being €10 at Zizobet and Velobet. Three sisters did list small spin rewards on 6 October whose pages don't mention a deposit: 100 spins at $0.01 (100x wagering) at Cosmobet, with email and ID verification as one route; 30 at Zizobet for following it on Discord, X and Telegram (its promo card says 10); and an unstated number at Rolletto once your email and ID are verified. Goldenbet's terms do define a "No Deposit" bonus, with withdrawals from it capped at 100 USD/EUR, but none was among its offers on 6 or 8 October.

Payments Compared Across Santeda International B.V. Sister Sites

Payout rules barely change across the family; the cashier does. Goldenbet's FAQ says crypto works before your profile is complete, and other methods open up once it's verified.

Games, Apps and Rewards at Sites Like Goldenbet

Goldenbet's casino lobby is in the same range as its sisters', with one exception. Its lobby data listed 1,093 live-casino entries on 6 October, roughly double any sister's count. Some studios appear there under more than one vendor ID, so part of that lead may be duplicates.

By number of titles, Goldenbet's lobby leans most on Pragmatic Play, Spinomenal, Amusnet, TaDa Gaming and BGaming, and its live section draws on Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Playtech Live and Imagine Live. Casino Guru counts 66 studios.

Apps. On 6 October, we found no app from Santeda for any of the five brands in Apple's UK App Store or on Google Play. Google Play did list two apps called "Goldenbet" from developers we couldn't connect to the casino, so stick to the mobile browser.

Rewards. We found no Goldenbet loyalty scheme: its VIP address returns an error page, and its terms mention VIP levels only "if any". It rewards activity instead, with the Thursday and Friday spins, a slot race whose top 50 share cash and spins every three days, and the Saturday free bet. One footer link, "Goldenbet Casino Club", leads to a separate website, goldenbetcasinos.com, whose page title reads "Goldenbet Casino UK 2024 - Welcome Bonus up to £1500" and which calls Goldenbet Anjouan-licensed. That content is out of date, so go by goldenbet.com itself.

Safety, Licensing and Regulation

Only two Curaçao licences cover these six casinos: Santeda's for five and Sefiarray's for Betmac. Each site's certificate read "Active" on 6 October 2026, yet the regulator's register (2 October edition) listed both licences as "Assessment in progress". None holds a UK licence. Casino Guru's verdicts on the six vary widely:

On 6 October, Goldenbet's 5.7 was the lowest of the five Santeda scores, though its review, dated February 2026, was also the oldest of the five. Casino Guru counts Goldenbet as a big casino, with estimated revenue above $20 million a year, and says the value of payouts denied in its complaints is high for that size. It notes that Goldenbet doesn't respond to complaints raised through third parties, and it flags one unfair term: too little time to supply documents during identity checks. Its own figures clash: the complaints box shows 103 (63 rejected, 17 resolved, 23 unresolved), the review text 24. Six of the ten complaints listed first quoted disputed sums in pounds, the largest £100,000. Casino Guru also records a €100,000 win limit per spin; Goldenbet's own terms, read on 6 October, say €50,000.

Goldenbet is the one current Santeda brand we found that was itself the subject of a regulator's warning. Australia's media regulator, ACMA, opened an investigation into "the Golden Bet service" on 15 September 2023 and issued Santeda a formal warning dated 4 December 2023. It found that Santeda, as a provider of Golden Bet at goldenbet.com, had offered casino games and in-play betting to people in Australia without an Australian licence. In June 2024, Sweden's Spelinspektionen barred Santeda from offering gambling in Sweden without a Swedish licence; that case concerned MyStake, and the decision lists goldenbet.com among Santeda's other sites. ACMA has sent Santeda at least two formal warnings; the other one we read, dated 27 January 2026, concerns MyStake. None of these actions came from a UK regulator. Goldenbet's footer code, as read on 6 October, removes the licence seal for visitors located in Australia.

How to Switch From Goldenbet to a Sister Site

Moving means opening a new account; we found nothing that transfers a Goldenbet balance, bonus or verification to another Santeda brand. Four steps make it smoother:

1. Pick by the gap you want filled. Cosmobet for a stronger safety record, Velobet for wager-free loyalty rewards, Zizobet for bet editing and €10 deposits, Rolletto for acca free bets, Betmac to leave Santeda behind.
2. Size and time the qualifying deposit. Cosmobet's welcome spins depend on the size of each deposit (50 from €20, 250 from €200), Rolletto's crypto spins need an exact step of 25 between 25 and 200, and Betmac's welcome bonus excludes crypto deposits.
3. Verify before you need a payout. Goldenbet wants documents in Latin or Cyrillic script, may ask for a video check if yours use another alphabet, and accepts proof of address no older than three months. Casino Guru calls its deadline for documents too short, so upload everything to the new site on day one.
4. Reset your limits. Goldenbet handles time-outs and self-exclusion through its support team, and we found nothing saying they reach its sisters. Betmac's terms state outright that an exclusion at one brand doesn't automatically extend to its sister sites. How We Checked These Goldenbet Sister Sites

This isn't a Goldenbet review: we opened no account, paid nothing in and requested no withdrawal. It's desk research into who runs Goldenbet and which casinos share that company, following the steps in our guide to checking who owns a casino. We opened the Curaçao Gaming Authority's certificates for goldenbet.com, goldenbet2.com and the sisters' nine other domains, read the regulator's licence register, searched the UK Gambling Commission's register, and matched the operator named in each brand's footer or terms.

Cosmobet is our pick. It keeps the parts of Goldenbet's small print that are gentle, as its profile shows, and adds the family's highest Casino Guru score and a €100,000 win cap. You lose the wager-free spins but gain a much stronger record. For other priorities:

• Editing bets and €10 deposits: Zizobet.

Final Verdict on Goldenbet Similar Sites

The regulator's own certificates tie Goldenbet to four sister brands, and we found no others. Moving to a sister changes the promotions and the small print, not the company or the licence. Among the sister sites of Goldenbet, Cosmobet and Velobet carry far stronger Casino Guru scores, Zizobet suits bettors who edit their slips, and Rolletto suits acca fans who can live with its stricter terms. Betmac is the Goldenbet alternative for leaving the group.
